The Call
There is a time in our lives that we are each called to the threshold. A time when the tension between who we have always been and who we are being called to become applies so much pressure to our field that we surrender to the call of the mystery. In these precious moments, much like the mythological figures who have walked before us, we are pulled into soul time, into Kairos,
and we are asked to leave behind the world as we knew it. There is a life force surrounding us that requires our deep trust in its benevolence. In this trust we are able to come into a deep soul initiatory path of reckoning. This is a path to liberation. Liberation from ideals, stories, concepts and wounds that we have carried for generations, for millennia. We can give ourselves the opportunity to be more than just an echo of our ancestors' cries.
These invitations can feel like descending into the underworld, dissolving into the void. And it is no accident that we answer this call from the land of County Wicklow, known to some as the Garden of Ireland and yet holding something far older and wilder than that name can contain. These are glacial
valleys that drop suddenly into shadow. Mist that moves across ancient granite mountains as though the land itself is breathing. Rivers that run cold and clear through bog and heather and oak. This is a land that has held centuries of rebellion and refuge, of grief and extraordinary beauty. The Irish
speak of places like this as being between the worlds, that thin and luminous place where what is seen and what is felt have not yet been separated from one another.
The Irish goddess Étaín walked a descent much like the one we are tracing together. Her story, like that of Persephone drawn down into the dark, is not a story of punishment. It is a story of initiation. Of the dissolution that must happen before a more essential self can be born. The Otherworld in Irish mythology is not the realm of the dead. It is the realm of the unresolved, the unnamed, the soul's unfinished business. And like Étaín, like Persephone, we do not descend to suffer. We descend to retrieve what has been waiting for us in the places we have not yet been willing to face. In this week-long ceremonial space we move into the ritual of undoing what has been done in fear. We move into the ritual space of reverence for what we may have taken for granted. We dive into
deep connection with a land that holds deep grief and yet profound love and gratitude, just like our own bodies. We will dance together, cry together, play together, release together and meet the true face of our inner selves. This is not easy work. It is humbling work. The expectation is not of joy and ecstasy but of grounded relationship to current reality. It is a place to truly open our eyes and our ears to the world around us. To find our true voices and perspectives. To be moved by life and to allow life to move through us.
Temple Arts
This is also a space that holds, with great care and great reverence, the territory of the temple arts. The wisdom of the body as a sacred instrument. The intelligence that lives in our sexuality and our sensuality as one of the most profound and most colonised aspects of our human wholeness.
So much of what we carry in our conditioning, in our shame, in our smallness, lives precisely here, in the sex centres, in the soma, in the places we were taught earliest to hide or to weaponise or to hand over to someone else's validation of our worthiness. In our time together, we do not ignore this territory. We approach it with the subtlety and integrity it deserves. This is not an explicitly sexual space. There are no requirements placed upon your body beyond your own sovereign choosing. And yet we do work with the sensual and the erotic as doorways back to the creative life force that has always lived in you, the power and the vitality and the deep self-knowing that no amount of conditioning has ever truly been able to extinguish.
We are here, in part, to take back the disowned aspects of Self that may be hidden beneath coping mechanisms, survival strategies and lineage burdens.

Who This Is For
Those who carry grief that has never found its full expression. Not the grief that gets managed and survived and gotten through, but the kind that sits beneath the personality like a held breath. The kind that knows it is asking for something more than another year of coping.
Those willing to be alone in wild and ancient land. To sit with fire and the night sky without filling the silence. To speak honestly in council, or at least willing to try, willing to stumble toward it, willing to be seen in the attempt. Those who sense that the land itself is a practice, and that something in them has been waiting a long time for the permission to be witnessed by tribe and finally held in a way that feels holding.
Those for whom personal healing is no longer enough. Who have done the work and who feel, beneath it all, something pulling them further. Not away from themselves but deeper into what connects them to something collective, something ancestral, something universal, something truer.
Humans of all vast orientations and wide dreams who are tired of having their complexity made manageable and their nature made to fit into boxes that have been prescribed to them.
If you are uncertain whether this is the right space for you at this moment in your life, please reach out, your questions, curiosities and concerns are welcome.
The Arc of the Week
Day One: The First Gate
We arrive into County Wicklow and into the presence of one another. The lodge temple space opens. The first council circle begins. As evening falls, the fire is lit for the first time and we name the agreements that will hold us for the seven days ahead.
Day Two: The Personal Descent
We enter grief work today, as an honest reckoning with what is beneath the surface of our personality. We begin to ask what the body has been holding in silence and for how long. What grief has been managed rather than met? We move over, across, and back from threshold to resolve. There will be celebration of what has moved, and fire. Feel free to bring drums, rattles, and any
creative instruments of artistic expression for the processing you will encounter this week.
Day Three: The Ancestral Field
The personal wound gives us an opportunity to meet the collective well of grief. We will move into collective prayer this day. We begin to locate, in the body and in honest council, what belongs to us and what we have been carrying for others across generations. This is a day for circling, creating through art and expression, working with archetypes, shadow and parts.
Day 4 & 5 : Sacred Mirrors
Sacred Mirrors asks us to descend into the spaces where our own grief and shadow meet the larger currents of the collective — the disconnection, the distortion, the flattening of our humanity into a single acceptable shape. We feel into the ways we have been limited, gendered, racialized, and segregated by expectations that were never truly ours to begin with. This is an encounter with the void. Not emptiness, but depth. The place where what has been unspoken across cultures and generations and bodies finally finds a room to sit in.
Day Six: Integration & Self Inquiry
A half day of noble silence, connection to land, self inquiry and contemplation of harvesting what you have brought back from the descent. No one can accompany you into this. This is the moment the
journey becomes irreducibly your own. What you bring back becomes your offering to the final ceremony that evening, and the integration council receives it all.
Day Seven: The Return
Étaín remembers her true name. Persephone walks back through the gate carrying the seeds of the underworld in her hands. This final day belongs to celebration, to naming what has shifted, to the closing of the fire.
Day 8: Preparation for Departure of The Land
We share a long morning meal together that marks our return to the world above. We leave this land, possibly, more essentially, undeniably, ourselves.
